How to create levels in revit architecture

Image
our new vebsite Revit opens with default levels as level 1 and level 2. We can create a new level by opening any of the elevation views and then pressing shortcut LL You can create levels another alternative to create levels is to go to the architecture or structure tab and click on the level. Generally, shortcuts make our workflow very easy and time-saving so we use always shortcuts, we would create a dedicated blog about shortcuts very soon... Note that you create each and every level u need in your project for example ground level, plinth level, floor level, parapet level, sill level, mumty level, etc... We made one video that is given below it's about how we can create levels in Revit in a straightforward way you must view this and make your workflow simple...

About material application problems and it's solutions

Image
In revit architecture there are huge collection of material and textures for our project we can execute required materials from material library even we can build our own material and texture as per our requirement. material like water, stones, grass, etc used in topography area.  We can create wall with multiple materials either in structural cores or outside of the core boundaries. We can use material as a paint on individual surface of the object or elements.  One note I want to share to my readers about material applying problem occurs in generic components model in place, we must apply material before we finish model otherwise is become difficult to change it's material or we can say it becames time consuming process that you go to edit in place and select generic model in place component and change it materials then finish model. You have to do it one by one for individual components that you created.  that's why I suggest you to apply material before fi...

Image
Suppose you want to build your career in the architecture field or civil design. In that case, you must have a good knowledge of CAD software like AutoCAD, Revit, 3DX Max, Sketchup, etc... but Revit is a building information modeling (BIM) software that is one of the best software to execute your workflow easily and efficiently.  Revit is Complex software having a huge ability to implement and execute details of the component or an element and its Schedule to determine cost estimation and quantity estimation. here are some points to consider that way you choose Revit instead of any other software Revit has Fast and highly accurate Cost Estimation. Creating 3D models in Revit is very Quick with details of elements. When you draw the plan it creates East-West, North-South elevations, and 3D models Automatically and it Allows you to cut Sections of  Your Project. in the section, you can implement more detail buy its Callout Feature to show more details of the Object and highlight...
